Job Duties: The Market Place Theatre is an important cultural resource for the local community as well as being one of the most significant and exciting regional arts development projects in Northern Ireland. It is also the principal cultural venue for Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council attracting over 50,000 people to performances & participative workshops every year.As a Casual Duty Officer, a customer facing and focused position, you will act as a first point of contact for the venue.Â

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:Please demonstrate two years' experience of working with the public in a customer-facing environment.IT literate to include proficiency in MS Office packages: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.Please demonstrate six months' experience of cash handling.Please demonstrate one year's experience of supervising staff.Please demonstrate six months' experience of implementing safety policies.Desirable Criteria: Hold a valid First Aid Certificate.Please demonstrate experience of working within an arts/cultural environment.Proficiency in use of box office systems e.g. Ticketsolve.
