Job Duties: Purpose and Function of Post:As part of a team contribute to the provision of an efficient and effective leisure service. Ensure highest standards of customer service within a safe and welcoming environment.Carry out duties as directed, including lifeguarding, cleaning, event/activity setup/takedowns and supervision and reception duties.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Qualifications and Experience:Possess a current National Pool Lifeguard qualification or equivalent;Applicants must provide specific and personal examples of having a least 6 months' relevant experience of dealing with the public in a customer service environment.Desirable Qualifications and Experience:Hold other relevant coaching/teaching qualifications e.g. swimming teacher qualification;12 months' experience of working within a wet or dry leisure facility e.g. outdoor sports pitches, leisure centre, recreation centre, private fitness club or other sport/leisure organisation;12 months' experience of dealing with the public in a customer service environment.Shortlisting Criteria may be enhanced to facilitate shortlisting.Additional Stipulation:Ability to complete a pre-employment swim test
