Job Duties: The employer is: RPB MARINA/ KINTRA BOAT TOURS.As a Deckhand you will work under the instruction of the Master, carrying out day to day duties operating a specified work boat, on any Company vessel.Assisting in the operation of the vessel to relevant MCA Regulations and company H&S standards. Carry out duties as per the Company SOP.Assisting the Master with the health, safety & welfare of the vessel & all passengers on board & associated shore side facilities. Always assist the Master with the safe navigation of the vessel whilst underway & keeping a lookout. Ensure safe access & egress and to accompany passengers & other members of staff who may step aboard the vessel deck.Assist the Master for the safe mooring of the vessel. Conduct emergency drills at least once per month as instructed by the Master. Maintain the hygiene standards of the vessel.Assist guides with wildlife talks.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: The successful Deckhand will have: Flexibility with working times.The ability to work within a physical role in all outdoor conditions.An aptitude for delivering the highest standards of customer service and care are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as a team.Previous proven experience within a similar role (desirable).A Commercial Endorsement Powerboat Level 2 ticket (desirable).You will be a real team player, eager to get stuck in to this exciting and fast-paced industry and work hard. The key to success in this role is communication, it is essential that you can use your initiative and be proactive particularly when making decisions. Must be able to pass a seafarer medical.All training will be provided.
