Job Duties: Support the Registered Manager and work with the staff team to support people through the pro-cess of transition to living in a residential home.Ensure all personal care tasks are carried out in line with the needs, wishes and preferences of each resident.Together with the Team Leaders, contribute to the management of medication and administer medication in accordance with Cedar guidance and procedure. This will include emergency medication.Assist residents with their activities of daily living including eating and drinking, mobility, epilepsy management etc.Support people to take an active role in the community by accessing local facilities and wider com-munity resources in the spirit of social inclusion.

Qualifications / Experience: A professional social work qualification and registered on the appropriate part of the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) register, without condition. Or:A first level registered nurse on the appropriate part of the Nursing and Midwifery Council register. Or:An allied health professional registered with the Health Professions Council.And:A minimum of three years' work experience in any health or social care setting with people who have significant needs. At least one year's of this experience must be in a relevant management capacity in a health and social care setting.Or:Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adults' Management) Wales and Northern Ireland and be eligible for registration on appointment and a minimum of four years' practice experience in any health and social care setting as above.
