Job Duties: To organise a range of activities that will be safe and stimulating to the children To contribute to the development of programmes and activities for children specific to their needs, on a group and individual level, and to seek professional advice about any changes in a child's well being To look after the basic needs of all children at the nursery To maintain health and safety procedures and a high level of hygiene at the nursery. To ensure that any food, drinks or bottles for children with allergies are prepared correctly and given correctly. To be involved in developing a partnership with the parents of the children, community groups, schools, nurseries and other agencies To provide appropriate daily written and verbal feedback to parents/carers

Qualifications / Experience: BA Hons in Early Childhood Education ORQCF Level 5 Leadership for Children's Care, Learning and Development or equivalentORQCF. Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development is acceptable if you have been at Management level in another Childcare post **Potential candidates should be aware that there is a requirement to undertake QCF Level 5 in Children's Care, Learning and Development post appointment if not already achieved and this will be in your own time and at your own expense. Must have been in a Supervisory position in a quality child centred environment for at least 1 year Ability to demonstrate a commitment to a quality child centred environment A good level of understanding of children's individual needs Have worked with children between the ages of 0-7 years
