Job Duties: To lead and manage a team of full and part time staff in the day to day delivery of the food & beverage service operations.Be a member of the senior management team and contribute to the development and implementation of annual business plans.Identify and deliver appropriate training, coaching & development for the food & beverage team to support them in discharging the full range of duties of their jobs.Ensure that shift staffing levels are maintained at an appropriate level, giving consideration to safe and efficient service delivery and cost effectiveness.Liaise with governing bodies, affiliated sports clubs, and strategic partners at the Complex in the delivery of food & beverage services.Undertake all responsibilities for health and safety of staff and users including, ensuring appropriate systems, procedures and policies are in place and staff are properly trained.Act as designated Duty Manager on a rota basis working any five of the seven days.

Qualifications / Experience: At least 3 years previous Food & Beverage / Conferencing experience.A track record of achieving results within a hospitality or related environment.A high level of communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels.Financial and budgetary management including stock management and control experience.Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines within a dynamic team.A result driven approach with the ability to meet/exceed targets.The ability to prioritise, plan, organise prioritise to meet business needs.The ability to inspire others and engage professionally with people at all levels.Excellent people management skills with the ability to lead and bring the best out in people.Excellent hospitality sector and business management knowledge.
