Job Duties: Engage in direct work with children and families.Undertake assessment and case planning and to discharge a range of statutory responsibilities in respect of children in need.Participate in Child Protection and Looked After Children processes.
Qualifications / Experience: Current Registration with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council on the social work part of the register.A minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience gained in working with families and children*, by the closing date for application.Having achieved or giving a commitment to achieve an award in social work within the Northern Ireland PQ Framework and linked to the service area and post, within 3 years of appointment to the post.
