Job Duties: The restaurant manager is responsible for ensuring the safe and smooth operation of the restaurant front of house, including managing waiters and bar staff. To organise staff rotas, staff holidays, arrange cover for staff leave and sickness at short notice. Stock control, ordering of goods and equipment. Recruiting, training and supervising of front of house staff; customer service; ability to deal with a Covid compliant workplace as and when legislation changes to ensure continuous compliance with government guidelines. Ensuring effective communication between the kitchen and front of house. Maintaining a good working relationship with external suppliers of restaurant equipment etc, and ensuring general maintenance jobs are carried out efficiently and effectively. Dealing with any staff grievances as a first point of contact, and creating a positive and enjoyable work environment for staff and customers.

Qualifications / Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
