Job Duties: Could you help support a young person who is homeless or leaving care to make the transition to interdependent living and their own tenancy? Newry Supported Housing Services (Move in to Move On) provide supported housing for young people who are homeless or leaving care to make the transition to interdependent living and their own tenancy. The Team Leader will work in conjunction with the Integrated Services Manager to maintain and develop the Supported Housing Service.
Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria is as follows:3 years' experience of working with young peopleORDegree in Social Work, Youth and Community Work or similar AND 2 years experience of working with young peopleUnderstanding of young people who have left care or have high support needsDemonstrate the ability to manage and develop a teamTo work within the ethos, culture and values of MACSA full current driving licence and access to a car is required so as to be able to meet the requirements of the post in fullDesirable CriteriaExperience of working with young people in a supported housing or similar environmentExperience of a leadership role within an organisation/service
