Job Duties: Work in partnership with the Senior Doctor on duty to provide excellent clinical leadership to ensure the effective delivery of patient care within the remit of the Hospital at Night Team.Provide expert clinical and managerial support during the night shift, and be responsible for the development of the service ensuring that there are appropriate systems in place to ensure that delivery of safe and effective care.
Qualifications / Experience: Registered Nurse (Adult Nursing) on the live NMC RegisterANDHave a Nursing Degree AND 3 years post-registration experience in an acute hospital settingORHave 5 years post-registration experience as a band 5 including 3 years in an acute hospital settingORHave 5 years post-registration experience which must include a minimum of 2 years at band 6 in an acute hospital setting.Experience of regularly managing a ward and clinical team (defined as a minimum of one shift per week for a minimum of 1 year)
