Job Duties: The employer is: NATIONAL MUSEUMS NI.The post holder will form part of a dedicated Buildings & Estates Maintenance Team, responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance, upkeep and presentation of the building and surrounding grounds of the Ulster Museum.Assist other departments with logistical tasks, including moving furniture around the Museum, delivering or collecting items, assisting at events and other general labouring duties as required.Undertake the set-up and breakdown of spaces for events and other functions as required.Assist in the minor maintenance of car park, walkways and grounds.Be committed to good health and safety and access practice and ensure familiarity with National Museums NI's health and safety policies, procedures and guidelines.Carry out weekend and public holiday working as part of a rota and as required for events and other operational requirements. You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Shortlisting CriteriaEnthusiasm and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to a wide and diverse range of people. Experience of working within a team, and as an individual within a team, demonstrating a high level of self-motivation. Availability to work flexible hours within a rota system including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.Desirable Shortlisting CriteriaPrevious experience in grounds maintenance, general labouring or buildings maintenance.2A general knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and issues.
