Job Duties: Reporting to the Transport Manager the successful candidate will supervise, develop and lead the transport function within the Foodservice business. Duties will include ensuring sufficient workforce availability, maintaining the driver hours and Tachograph record management system and management of driver licence checks and vehicle maintenance requirements.The successful candidate will also need to ensure that customer requirements are met through the provision of top quality service, including deliveries, service levels and key performance indicators.

Qualifications / Experience: At least two years experience in a supervisory/ management role A solid understanding of transport regulations and relevant legislationProficient in the use of MS Office packages, in particular, Word and ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFirst class planning and organising skillsDedicated to exceeding customer service expectationsExperience of manpower planningManagement of budgets and KPIs
