Job Duties: To be responsible to the Chef/Supervisor for:Assisting in the provision of a high-quality catering service in respect of the council's staff restaurant, member catering, function and trolley services at all assigned locations;Receiving and accounting for payments taken in the Atrium restaurant;Preparing, transporting and serving food and beverages as required at all designated locations; andEnsuring the cleanliness of all locations, equipment and utensils as directed.

Qualifications / Experience: Qualifications and experience:Possess a valid, recognised basic food hygiene certificate gained within the last three years; andBe able to demonstrate on the application form, by providing personal and specific examples, experience of each of the following:Carrying out basic food preparation in a kitchen;Cash handling on behalf of others; andDealing with enquiries from customers or members of the public in person.
