Job Duties: Develop design concepts and functional requirement based on user requirements.Work within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure design, development, and testing is coordinated appropriately.Ensure all systems are designed to a high quality, ensuring compliance with appropriate internal procedures and European and International standards, where applicable.Generate and maintain technical documentation such as code reviews, work instructions, risk analysis, etc.Contribute to design changes and manage changes in a controlled way.Management of a small, embedded team within projects.
Qualifications / Experience: Essential:A higher-level qualification in Software or Electrical and Electronic Engineering or be able to demonstrate appropriate industrial experience.To be able to demonstrate experience of low-level programming in C / C++.A desire to learn and explore new technologies.Excellent team working ability.Desirable:Experience in managing a team.Experience in communication protocols e.g. GAN, RS232, I2C.Experience with Keli or other similar toolchains.Experience in developing Motion / Thermal control systems using ARM based microcontrollers.Knowledge of ISO13485, IEC62304, and FDA guidance for the development of Medical Devices.
