Job Duties: The post holder will be responsible for identifying and embedding processes, procedures, governance standards and frameworks surrounding Information Security, Risk and Compliance for the college whilst promoting, encouraging and supporting the safe and secure use of Information and ICT by College staff, students and all internal/external users. The role also has an audit function, liaising with internal and external auditors as appropriate. See job description for complete list of duties

Qualifications / Experience: A qualification at Level 6 or above in Computing Information Systems or equivalent;A minimum of 2 years' information security experience gained in the last 5 years working in two or more of the following areas:Network systems managementFirewalls and web filtersAnti-virus strategiesApplying security policies and frameworks;Implementation and monitoring of file management and data security systems;Carrying out security and network audits;Knowledge and/or experience of security and security frameworks in a network environment;Ability to maintain accurate records and produce timely and accurate reports;In-depth knowledge and experience of relevant IT, data and security regulations and legislation.GCSE English Language and Maths Grade A-C or equivalentAccess to a car and able to travel between campuses and other business use as required or ability to demonstrate mobility
