Job Duties: The Alchemy Technology Services Academy is supported by the Department for the Economy and delivered in partnership with North West Regional College.The 5-week programme will equip graduates with relevant technology skills and certifications that are in demand in the Insurance Industry and enable the transition from further education to a fulfilling career in an exciting marketplace.Alchemy continually assess and review candidates throughout the Academy and will offer positions to those who successfully complete the process. The Alchemy roles usually involve frequent travel in the UK and wider Europe (with the potential for travel to North America and Africa). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, travel to client site has been suspended indefinitely and will not resume until the company is confident it is safe to do so. Upon resumption, you will work on-site with Industry leading clients gaining hands-on commercial experience.

Qualifications / Experience: Applicants must:be at least 18 years oldbe eligible to work full-time in the UKand meet at least one of the following eligibility criteria:Have a university classification of at least 2:2 (IT related discipline) or be on track to achieve upon completion of the academy OrLevel 5 qualification in an IT related discipline OrHave completed MSc (IT related discipline) or be on track to achieve within current academic year.Ideally candidates will have a grounding in Java, .Net, C# or C++ and an awareness of Object-Oriented Design principles. European language skills are desirable but not essential.If you successfully complete the training academy, you'll be considered for a job with Alchemy. However, please note that successful completion of the academy is not a guarantee of gaining employment.If successful in being offered employment the starting salary is £22,500 with quarterly performance bonus.

Other Information: This training opportunity attracts a Training Allowance of £155 per week and help with travel costs.
