Job Duties: The Application Support Analyst will form part of a new Application Support Team that sits in between Support and Development Teams. They will be the first point of contact for any support cases that have been escalated from the Support Team. Their roles will include the investigation of these raised support cases. This will involve liaising with all involved parties including retail staff and HO staff, using all available resources to find a solution. These resources include application logs, KBs, Issue tracking software, Update Server, source code repositories and inhouse test kits.As part of the role the Application Support Analyst will be expected to write maintenance programs under the guidance of the Development team as part of a possible solution for any support case. On completion of a support case any solution will need to be added to the KB for use by the external teams.
