Job Duties: Lead and plan the activities of the wash line, ensuring a constant flow of production to and from the line, allocating staff to specific duties in accordance with training and skills while achieving maximum efficiencies and correct specifications.Train and develop staff on the wash line to ensure maximum efficiencies are achieved and they are adhering to Health & Safety and Food Safety legislation as well as all other company policies and procedures.Check and review and/or complete relevant paperwork for the line.Endorse and support two second lean processes.Overall responsibility for Operating/Maintaining the main production line.

Qualifications / Experience: Driven, self-motivated individual with the ability to lead a team of up to 5 staff.Previous experience of working on a busy production line using heavy duty equipment and plant including tractors.Good knowledge of machinery and plant to foresee any maintenance issues and general upkeep and running of the line.Holds valid UK driving & forklift licence.The ability to lead, motivate and communicate with a diverse team of forklift drivers.Knowledge of Health and Safety.The ability to solve problems and works well under pressure. Good verbal and written communication skills.The ability to complete both written and computerised production records.Flexibility to support the business needs, working shifts and/or weekends as per rota.
