Job Duties: The use of the computerised stock control system and related excel spreadsheets to generate manufacturing schedules and to raise Works Orders for the various formulation and assembly teams.The liaising with the various manufacturing teams to ensure the smooth flow of product.Working with manufacturing team to maximise manufacturing capacities.The reviewing of stocking levels, incoming orders, and OEM demand to reduce delivery times and minimise back orders. The liaising with the Purchasing Department in forecasting and ordering of all manufacturing raw material chemicals, packaging materials and OEM reagents.The analysis of customer forecasts to maximise efficiency, reduce back orders and minimise the level of stock held.The liaising with the various QC departments to ensure that product has passed all its specification checks in readiness for despatch in accordance with established dates.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential:An awareness of the principles of Lean ManufacturingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Full computer literacy.Desirable:An awareness of Total Quality Management SystemsExperience in the use of a computerised production planning system such as Sage (Sage).
