Job Duties: Use CNC Press Brake Machinery to fold and shape pieces of metal.Work from technical drawings to program CNC Machine tool.Planning the best sequence of operations for the shape & type of metal, selecting the appropriate folding tools for each fold required, lifting materials safely either by yourself, with another or using mechanical aids as appropriate.Check product quality, remove faulty / non-compliant products, report these ensuring that they are picked up by the system and production is not delayed as a result.Adhere to specifications as detailed at all times even for repetitive work.Observe prescribed operating & safety standards. Operate overhead mechanical lifting systems safely when required.Learn job-related material primarily through oral instruction and observation.

Qualifications / Experience: 1 year's experience as a CNC press operative.Experience must include:Setting horizontal & vertical milling machines.Working from technical drawings.Undertaking product finishing i.e. cleaning of product etc. Experience of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximising the effective manufacture and distribution of products.
