Job Duties: Load and run Lathe and Milling machines, operate saws, grinders and other equipment. Deburr and hand finish component parts to a high standard.Read, understand and be able to interpret engineering drawings.Inspect components using precision measuring equipment and customer drawings ensuring conformance of product to specification. Compliance with, implementation of, and contribution to improving relevant quality standards.Comply with good housekeeping and Health and Safety standards/legislation and contribute to improvements.Perform routine machine/factory maintenance tasks. Concise and accurate record keeping.

Qualifications / Experience: Previous mechanical engineering environment experience.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good mechanical dexterity skills.Good multi-tasking skills.Ability to work to a high level of accuracy and consistency.Ability to competently read and interpret precision engineering drawings.Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
