Job Duties: This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Lakeland Ballyrashane as we celebrate 125 years of producing dairy products of the highest quality both locally and internationally.Due to continued growth and success Lakeland wishes to recruit General Dairy Operators to enhance its multi-skilled production teams. We have vacancies across all production departments with excellent opportunities for employees to progress to higher-skilled roles in line with the companys earn as you learn ethos. Roles may involve all aspects of the production process from machine set up and operation to final packing. All roles will also involve manual lifting, completing production/dispatch records and maintaining quality standards. A good standard of numeracy and literacy with basic computer skills are required for the role. Whilst previous experience working within the food industry would be advantageous, it is not essential as full training will be given.

Qualifications / Experience: Applicants should be flexible with regard to hours of work and be available to work customary holidays. Some weekend working may also be required as part of a rota system. Applicants should have the ability to work with minimal supervision and possess basic communication skills. Wages: Training rate of pay, Age 18 plus, Grade 1- £8.91 per hour increasing to Grade 5-£12.54 depending on roles. Overtime premium payable after 39 hour. Shift premia may also apply.
