Job Duties: The manufacture of concrete products is highly mechanised, so your work as a General Operative is likely to include:Operating the machinery in a safe working manner in conjunction with pre-defined permit to work systems/Risk Assessments and Method statements.Checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items.Maintaining\up keeping machinery by conducting regular pre-production checks.Reporting machinery faults to Works Supervisor and maintenance staff.
Qualifications / Experience: Medically fit to undertake the physical requirements of the job.Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment.Adherence and appreciation for housekeeping standards.Ability to work to strict deadlines.Be highly aware of health & safety in the workplace.Ability to work as part of a team focused on maximising production.Methodical in approach.Reliable.
