Job Duties: We seek applications for the Services Operator position to assist with the operation of the company's wastewater treatment facility and award-winning innovative Anaerobic Digestion Plant outside Coleraine. Reporting to the Services Supervisor, the candidate will carry out general operational tasks around the wastewater treatment facility and AD Plant. Roles and Responsibilities:Always keeping the facilities clean and tidy.Respond to alarms to ensure downtime is limited, and the plants are always running well.Identify process issues and seek assistance from Maintenance Engineers.Record and document all operational information and report on problems.Carry out weighbridge and feedstock acceptance duties.Taking and testing samples for analysis as required.Follow company Health & Safety procedures and supervise contractors working on site.Call out duties and weekend working as part of a rota based system.
Qualifications / Experience: The Person:Agricultural background or must be able to work outside.Must be willing to work with dairy waste.Hands-on, can-do attitude with own initiative. Good team player and communicationComputer literate, including Microsoft Office.A full UK drivers licence is essential, and a tractor/telehandler experience preferred. Whilst full training is given, experience working on a process plant (water treatment, anaerobic digestion, or similar) would be advantageous.
