Job Duties: Manage a caseload of clients in the community who have been identified as requiring the community discharge service.BHSCT JD / March 2022 Page 2 of 7Support the delivery of an effective and efficient Occupational Therapy Service to clients referred. This will involve:Completion of appropriate assessments.To devise and implement client centred treatment goals and interventions to address clients needs.To work with clients and carers providing support and advice relating to practical management of the client and providing up to date information to assist them in decision making.To prescribe equipment or minor adaptations deemed necessary to support the individual.Discuss assessment and treatment goals with clients and their carers communicating sensitive information in a clear, concise and empathetic manner.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.

Qualifications / Experience: Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy from a school recognised by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists. (WFOT)Be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.
