Job Duties: Providing counselling face to face, over the telephone, or via zoom.Ability to carry out client assessments.Working with our team.Keeping confidential records.Working with individuals and communities.To raise awareness of our new project by providing information seminars to potential stakeholders assisted by the Complementary Therapist. Delivery of 15 sessions of counselling per week.The individual will be responsible for assessing, planning, organising, and providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to our stakeholders in a caring and safe environment as well as code signing Stress Management Programmes and services. He/she will work in a professional manner and in accordance with directives from the appropriate professional bodies and in line with best clinical practice standards. Participate in any audit or research being carried out by the Marketing Assistant.
Qualifications / Experience: 2 GCSEs to include English and Maths.Third Level or Equivalent Qualification in Counselling.A Member of a Recognised Professional Body.Accreditation of a Professional Body.Must have 2 + years' unbroken experience in a community development role. Must have experience in managing a team of people.Understanding of issues regarding Confidentiality and GDPR.Strong working knowledge of IT systems and skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, Emails and Database. Understand the importance of record keeping and confidentiality. Ability to complete reports in a neat and timely manner. Excellent communication skills. An understanding of and commitment to multi-disciplinary working. Excellent organisational and planning skills. High attention to detail. Understanding of health and safety issues.Understanding of community development and volunteering.
