Job Duties: Care for and ensure safe and effective treatment and recovery for patients who require in-patient procedures.Manage the admission and discharge of patients from own caseload.Produce an initial physical and psychosocial assessment of patients with chronic pain. Advise on and implement appropriate analgesic regimens and non-pharmacological interventions to provide safe and effective pain control on an individual patient basis.
Qualifications / Experience: Registered Nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register (Adult).Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years post registration experience as a registered nurse in a surgical, critical care, recovery or pain clinic environment. Three years' experience in acute and/or chronic pain management.
