Job Duties: Through maternity services make direct face to face or telephone contact with breastfeeding mothers in hospital or within 48 hours of discharge from hospital in order to provide breastfeeding information and support Ensure breastfeeding mothers are provided with contact details of local breastfeeding support.
Qualifications / Experience: Completion of the PHA Breastfeeding Peer Support 8 week program as certified by Open College Network or a similar certified recognised program.
