Job Duties: Under the direction of the Unit Manager, contribute to the formulation of care plans according to the specific nursing needs of child/young person.Undertake the role of shift co-ordinator, ensuring that the child's care plan is carried out to agreed standards.
Qualifications / Experience: Two years' experience at Band 5 or above which includes working with children with complex needs.ORTwo years' experience at Band 5 or above working as a learning disability nurse.Registered on the live NMC register: Part 1 (Children's)ORRegistered on the live NMC register: Part 1 (Learning Disability)Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.
