Job Duties: The post holder will be accountable to the Senior Manager Nursing, Governance and Patient Experience for the exercise of the range of duties of the post. The post holder will support the Trust in promoting a culture where governance and patient safety is perceived as essential to the care and wellbeing of patients and staff, ensuring openness and accountability. The post holder will provide support and leadership to Directorates on a range of nursing and midwifery issues, contributing to and supporting change to meet Trust responsibilities for achievement of the Trust patient experience objectives.

Qualifications / Experience: Must be live on the NMC Register and hold a Nursing or Health related University Degree And have 2 years experience at a Band 7 or above or equivalent OrMust be live on the NMC Register and have worked for at least 5 years at Band 7 or above or equivalent in a senior nurse nursing/midwifery role.Be able to demonstrate effective people management, governance, leadership and organisational skills.
