Job Duties: Be an expert Physiotherapy Advanced Practitioner in all aspects of oncology and palliative care and practice, to patients referred from surgical wards, DOSA service.Deliver and promote evidence based practice and agreed care pathways.Contribute to the improvement of effective person centred care.Undertake the comprehensive assessment of patients, using investigative and analytical skills to make an independent clinical diagnosis.

Qualifications / Experience: A minimum of 5 years post graduate clinical experience with at least 2 years at senior level (band 6 level or above).Senior experience must include at least 12 months working in the treatment and management of patients with oncology needs, as part of caseload.Minimum of one MSc module relevant to the management of oncology patients with a requirement to undertake and complete further relevant MSc within 2 years of starting post.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
