Job Duties: Provide specialist Speech and Language Therapy input to multi-professional diagnostic assessment and management process for children and young people with Autism. Provide specialist clinical assessment, advice, guidance and support for less experienced Speech and Language Therapists working with children and young people with Autism and associated difficulties in line with Department Policy.

Qualifications / Experience: Hold a degree or qualification recognised by RCSLT and a minimum of 3 years post registration clinical experience.Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and Health Professional Council (HPC). Completion of a range of post graduate qualifications to include advanced clinical training courses relevant to the diagnosis, prognosis and management of the client group, e.g. Advanced Hanen, Makaton, NI Curriculum, AAC, Statutory SEN Assessment PECS, TEACCH.
