Job Duties: Undertake duties appropriate to the post as outlined in legislation and statutory regulations or by written direction from the Department of Health & Social Services and Health and Social Care Board Policy.Determine the mental health needs of children and young people in residential care and assist staff to monitor risk. Qualifications / Experience: Registered Nurse (Mental Health) or Registered Nurse (Learning Disability) whose name is entered on Part 1 of the NMC Register.Current registration on NMC register.Has completed or will successfully complete within eighteen months of appointment: Postgraduate Diploma or MSc in at least one mode of evidence-based psychological therapy (e.g. counselling, systemic therapy, CBT, psychodynamic psychotherapy).Provide evidence of continuous personal and professional development relevant to this specific demographic group.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
