Job Duties: Participate in a first on-call NHSCT, currently 1:18 rota covering all hospital sites within the Trust. A home Tele radiology system will be available from the Trust and facilities will be provided but home broadband must already be in situ at the appointee¿s home to service this. The candidate may be required to travel to Acute Hospitals to provide On Call. CT overnight is currently outsourced to Ever light Radiology. Trust Consultant remains first on call for other calls and in the event of outsourcing technology failure. Play an active part in the functioning and administration of the Radiology Department, Antrim Hospital and contribute to planning and future developments of the service.Undertake administrative duties associated with care of his/her patients. Qualifications / Experience: Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Clinical Radiology via:-CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview date)CESR orEuropean Community RightsPlusFull registration or eligibility for registration (Must be registered at time of appointment) with the General Medical Council (GMC), London and a License to PracticePlus12 months experience in Cross Sectional Imaging Desirable Criteria At least 6 months experience in Respiratory RadiologyExperience of presenting at MDMsMRI general reportingThe ability to perform general intervention (USS and CT guided drainage & biopsy).For full list of qualifications please see job specification.
