Job Duties: Develop and promote evidence based policies, procedures, professional standards and care pathways to support Looked After Children and Young People to make healthy lifestyles choices and optimise their health outcomes.Contribute to the improvement of effective person-centred care through the provision of expert advice, support and training for children/young people, carers, health visitors, school nurses, midwives, residential and other professionals regarding the health care of Looked After Children and Young People.
Qualifications / Experience: Specialist Community Public Health Nurse Health Visiting/School Nurse currently on parts 1 or 2 and 3 of the live NMC Register.3 years relevant experience as a Health Visitor or School Nurse.Experience of managing, Child Protection cases, Looked After Children and Children in Need.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
