Job Duties: Ensure that all professional duties within the sphere of responsibility are executed within the parameters of the NMC, DOH and the Trust.Take professional responsibility for ensuring effective communication with patients, families, carers and other professionals and agencies to ensure patient's needs are met using skilled listening, verbal, written and electronic communication skills. The post holder will attend communication skills training appropriate to the needs of this patient group as required.

Qualifications / Experience: Five years post-registration nursing experience, 2 of which must be in the care of patients with palliative care needs at Band 6 or aboveCurrently a registered Nurse on Part 1 of the live NMC register
