Job Duties: Work under the direction of the Occupational Therapist to implement creative, practical and social therapeutic activities to support individuals with mental, physical and cognitive needs who require admission to an Acute Mental Health ward.Independently carry out therapeutic activities in a group setting or on an individual basis following assessment of need by the OT.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.

Qualifications / Experience: Have two years' paid experience working in a formal Health/Social Care related role providing direct patient care to individuals with mental health illness and/or dementia.5 GCSEs at Grade A-C including Mathematics and English Language or equivalent/higher qualification or NVQ Level 3 Diploma/QCF Level 3 Diploma/RQF Level 3 Diploma or equivalent or higher in Health & Social Care or 3 years' experience working as an Band 3 or above as an Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor/AssistantPlease visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
