Job Duties: Join our Creative, Award-Winning Team! Opportunities for CYP Counsellors, Play Therapists, Art, Music and Drama Therapists to Work in Primary Schools and Post-Primary Special Schools, 3 and 5-Day Opportunities Available with Permanent Contracts (Subject to Funding). We are seeking to recruit qualified Counsellors and Therapists to work in primary schools and post-primary special sector schools. You will have experience counselling children and young people and bring a flexible approach to work on your own and as part of the team. You will be able to communicate in a warm, professional and confidential manner with everyone who works for or accesses support from the service.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:Diploma, or equivalent qualification, in Counselling, Art, Music, Drama or Play TherapyAccreditation or Registration with one of the following accredited professional bodies: BACP, IACP, PTUK, HCPC.Demonstrable experience of providing counselling / therapy to children and young peopleDemonstrable experience of working in partnership to support and advice parents/carers, school staff and other professionals.Candidates must also be able to drive and have a valid driving licence or alternatively be able to demonstrate how they can meet the mobility requirements of the postDesirable Criteria:Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).Specialist training in counselling children and young people.Experience as a school-based counsellor.
