Job Duties: To be responsible for providing and monitoring of a specialist behavioural assessment and intervention service to adults and children with a Learning Disability who fulfil the criteria for access to service. This is likely to occur in day care settings, service user's homes, and other relevant services.To prioritise in collaboration with the team leads within the service, the allocation of service users referred to the team in line with individual needs for responsive/ time limited intensive support.To advise and support other members of the Team working with individuals on behavioural aspects of conducting assessments and implementing interventions.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.

Qualifications / Experience: Degree level qualifications in a relevant Health and Social Care area (eg. Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Allied Health Profession) with live registration (or equivalent) with their respective professional body if appropriate.A minimum of two years post-qualify paid experience working with individuals who present with complex behavioural needs (candidates must clearly indicate on the application whether there experience was paid or voluntary).Experience of working with individuals with a learning disability.
