Job Duties: To provide specialist psychological assessment and intervention service across a range of settings for children with school based conditions and their parents/carers/families within the RISE NI Clinical Pathways, residing within the Southern HSC Trust.To provide specialist psychological assessment and intervention service for children with social, emotional or behavioural difficulties which impact on their ability to access the curriculum.To provide specialist formulation and differential assessment for children referred to RISE NI Psychology Service.

Qualifications / Experience: Post-graduate Doctoral level training in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology(or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) or Statement of Equivalence from the BPS by the time of applying for the post. Live registration with the Health & Care Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist with specialism in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Assessed experience of working as a qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologist for a minimum of two years at time of interview.
