Job Duties: As a Clinical Specialist, to be responsible for a clinical caseload within the clinical area and assist in the development and provision of a specialist, evidence based Dietetic Service within community nutrition support / respiratory/ palliative care.To support the Nutrition & Dietetic Service Manager in the provision of a quality service within the clinical area of nutrition support/ respiratory/ palliative care.To deputize in the absence of the clinical lead dietitian, community nutrition support.

Qualifications / Experience: Degree in Nutrition and/or Dietetics or a related Degree with a post-graduate diploma in Dietetics and be currently registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in dietetics of which 3 years should be working at Band 6 or equivalent.Post-graduate/Masters Level training in Nutrition support / Respiratory/ Palliative Care or will undertake same.
