Job Duties: To ensure there are appropriate arrangements in place for onward referral and/or follow up on discharge from the physiotherapy service. Ensure safe practice under the Health & Safety at Work order. Ensure that equipment used by the physiotherapy service is safe and maintained at all times.Take responsibility for assessment and ordering of specialised equipment and updating knowledge of availability of new equipment. Qualifications / Experience: BSc/Diploma in Physiotherapy and minimum 5 years post graduate clinical experience, which includes a minimum of 3 year's experience at Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist level or above within NHS or equivalent. This should be inclusive of a minimum of 9 months acute inpatient experience.
