Job Duties: Role models and enables effective communication with patients and relatives to assist in their understanding of their illness, care and treatment.Adopts a questioning approach to existing practices and constantly seeks ways of improving care delivery based on available evidence.As a member of the multi-disciplinary team, co-ordinates care to ensure that it is effective and holistic.

Qualifications / Experience: Registered Nurse Part 1, Adult of the live NMC Register 3 years post registration experience within an acute hospital setting, 2 of which must have been in Acute Neurosciences Department OR 4 years experience within critical care at band 5. Evidence of personal and professional development.
