Job Duties: Be responsible for a delegated caseload and for organising own workload in line with agreed service priorities, policies and procedures, under the direct supervision of the team lead.Develop a high level of knowledge of the range of wheelchairs and associated products, undertaking regular training to continually update knowledge base.Complete the handover of prescribed wheelchairs and associated products in accordance with service standards and procedures, undertaking necessary technical adjustments, within a clinic or community setting e.g. school, day centre or in the client's own home.
Qualifications / Experience: Have completed a relevant accredited training course, e.g. HNC or NVQ Level III in engineering, or other training relevant to this post.Have a minimum of 2 GCSEs at grade C /4 or above, (or equivalent) to include English and Maths.Hold a current full driving licence valid in the UK.Where disability prohibits driving, this criteria will be waived if the applicant is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements
