Job Duties: Main Purpose of Post/Job SummaryThe post holder will be required to work in all weather conditions and as a team member contributing to the maintenance of the full range of the Councils parks, gardens and open spaces as appropriate.

Qualifications / Experience: NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture or Equivalent AND1 years relevant horticulture experience to include the use of commercial grounds maintenance machineryOR Applicants without NVQ level 2 in Horticulture qualification or equivalent must have 2 years relevant horticulture or site work experience to include the use of commercial grounds maintenance machineryCertificate in Chemical Spraying and Handling (Pa1 and Pa6a)ORChainsaw Licence (CS30 & CS31)ExperienceExperience of operating commercial grounds maintenance machinery.Experience in grounds maintenance to include grass cutting, hedge trimming, clearing leaves and litter, etc.
