Job Duties: The employer is: WILLOWBANK ORGANIC PRODUCERSAs Assistant Gardener you will have lots of different tasks, including:Load and unload deliveries.Prune, shape and space out plants.Weed, water and feed plants.Mow and trim green spaces.Operate all gardening equipment and machinery, like mowers, trimmers and leaf blowers.Pot seedlings.Monitor plant health and quality.Re-stock plant displays.Serve customers. Plant up orders for delivery i.e. hanging baskets & planters.Keep green houses and polytunnels clean and tidy at all times.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: To become a Trainee Gardener, you will need to be:Happy to work outside in all types of weather.Able to give clear advice to customers.Please note this position will involve activities such as digging, lifting and carrying.Experience working within this environment preferable but not essential as full training will be given.
