Job Duties: The employer is: GROUNDWORK NI.Work with groups of people from a variety of backgrounds, who will be undertaking environmental improvement projects alongside a programme of supervised training to meet the objectives of the OCN Level 1 and Level 2 Certificates in Horticulture.Ensure projects are undertaken in compliance with Health and Safety.Support Community Gardener to deliver projects in accordance with agreed timeframes, objectives and budgets.Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.Identify appropriate training and projects.Evaluate and monitor projects.Identify and manage risks.Provide information in an accurate and timely manner.Communicate positively about the benefits and impact of GWNI.Support members of the GWNI Horticulture Team to deliver projects in communities of need.Participate in team meetings/training and development days.Represent GWNI at public events.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.
Qualifications / Experience: Ability to show initiative and support team members.Assistant Gardeners will be afforded the opportunity to gain OCN Level 1 and/or Level 2 in Horticulture.
