Worktime: 7am to 5pm, covering Monday to Saturday.

Job Duties: To work as part of the skilled production team in the butchery department. We make our sausages the traditional way by hand-linking them and are keen to preserve this skill. Choose to work from 3, 4 or 5 days per week.Duties: Manufacture Sausages and Burgers, following set recipes and procedures.Work as part of a team to dispatch orders in a timely manner.Prepare, pack and label product for sale.To ensure that the working area is clean to the highest standards e.g. machines, surfaces and fridges.To assist in any other relevant duties as required.
Qualifications / Experience: Full on-the-job training provided - Work towards NVQ Level 2 in Meat & Poultry Skills.Ability to learn knife skills. Able to follow instructions. Willing to learn new skills. Flexible attitude to work and capable of working as part of an established team. Able to read recipes, follow instructions and record product details. Please note duties include heavy lifting and working in industrial fridges. Previous butchery experience is not essential and full training will be provided but food preparation in a commercial area is advantageous
