Job Duties: The employer is: PUNJANA LTD.Punjana are the biggest producer of tea and teabags and the most popular tea brand in Northern Ireland. Operating Machinery in a safe manner as instructed by the factory supervisor.To optimise production output whilst strictly adhering to company quality, food/health and safety policies. Ensuring that you maintain a hygienic work station.Ensure you maintain all standard quality checks and records associated with production.Ensuring correct actions are taken in response to any deviation from the standards. Communicate issues quickly and effectively to ensure standards are maintained.Record all faults with machine downtime. Record packing materials used in production of product to ensure complete traceability. Carry out basic trouble shooting and machine operation/inspection/ maintenance checks.Working as a team member.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: Previous experience in a production facility/machinery operation or production experience desirable. Attention to detail and accurate recording essential.Ability to follow instructions. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.Experience within a food manufacturing/ handling business would be desirable.Dexterity and material handling capabilities.Attention to detail.Literacy and numeracy.
