Job Duties: You will be required to train and supervise Mushroom Harvesters to ensure optimal picking rates, punnet and tray weights, mushroom quality and presentation. Playing an important part of a wider team responsible for supplying high-quality mushrooms.Duties and Responsibilities:Communicates with Farm Manager concerning compost quality and equipment concernsSupervises all non-management harvesting staffSupervises and leads the team, including job performance reviews to ensure picking rates are being achieved and proper training requirements are metEnsures the highest level of hygiene and sanitation within the Mushroom TunnelEnsures mushrooms are harvested and delivered to the packaging room properlyMonitors proper use of aprons, hairnets, knives, gloves and personal protective equipmentAssures the safe operating condition of harvesting equipment and reports unsafe or inadequate equipment to the maintenance department

Qualifications / Experience: 3 years of experience in Mushroom and/or horticulture, agriculture field is required.Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure or tight deadlinesAble to stand and lift, use hands, eyes and legsPositions available immediately or join us for an open recruitment day on Tuesday 8th February between 2 - 6pm at 46 Boconnell Lane, Lurgan.For more information, please contact Emma on 028 38325555.
